Automatic Enrollment
Automatic enrollment can occur when SeamlessMD is integrated into your EHR. There are various levels of integration allowing for semi-automatic enrollment, where partial information is pulled from the EHR system, and fully automatic enrollment, where all information is pulled and updated from the EHR system.
Levels of Integration and Automatic Enrollment
- FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) Integration
This integration embeds the SeamlessMD dashboards within your hospitals EHR, allowing you to open SeamlessMD within the EHR instead of in a web browser. When enrolling a patient onto SeamlessMD with a FHIR integration, the process is the very similar to manually enrolling a patient but this occurs within the EHR. Some of the information, such the patients name and MRN, can be automatically pulled into the enrollment form from the EHR to make enrollment faster.
- HL7 Scheduling feed
This integration connects SeamlessMD with your scheduling system to create a feed of messages from your scheduling system to SeamlessMD. These messages can include when a procedure is scheduled, or when a patients procedure details change. When SeamlessMD receives these messages patients can be automatically enrolled and details automatically updated to allow for faster and more accurate enrollment.
