SeamlessMD Translation Guide

SeamlessMD can include content in other languages within existing programs, which will depend on receiving translated content from customers. Here are the steps for translating content:

  1. SeamlessMD will send translation documents to hospital staff
  2. A partial translation of the education library/survey is to be completed (please enter translations for at least one education page)
  3. This partial translation is to be sent back to SeamlessMD - this is for SeamlessMD to ensure that there are no formatting errors (for example, any hidden HTML tags - mentioned below in section “Formatting”)
  4. SeamlessMD to confirm that the partial translation is formatted correctly
  5. Once confirmed, the rest of the translations are to be completed and entered into the translation documents
  6. All completed translation documents to be sent back to SeamlessMD

Please note that Word documents will be provided to you to enter translations. Each document consists of a table. In each table, there will be two columns that each have the original English text that is to be translated. The left column is to be left as is. The right column is to be replaced by your translations. After all of your translations have been entered, the end result should therefore be a document containing a table that has the original English text and your translations side-by-side.


If your contract does not already include translation services, please reach out to your Account Manager or Customer Success Associate/Manager in order to get a quote. 


There are many components that make up the translation process, such as:

  • Translation of content (SeamlessMD can either supply you with an export of all content to translate, or we can provide translation services for an additional fee)
  • Input into Education Library
  • Creation of new emails and push notifications
  • Input of text into tasks, to-do list items, and timelines
  • Reformatting of buttons to match new text size
  • Back-end programming to allow language selection
  • Quality assurance testing
