The Best Time to Enroll Patients on SeamlessMD

The optimal time for hospital administrative staff to enroll patients onto SeamlessMD in order to see the highest rate of activation and post-discharge usage is 3-4 weeks (20-30 days) before the scheduled procedure. Please note that this does not apply for emergent patients and we encourage emergent patient enrollment at all times.

Keep the following information in mind:

1. Patients enrolled into SeamlessMD less than a week (7 days) before the procedure risk being overwhelmed with the amount of information SeamlessMD has to offer in the pre-operative program and may not have a chance to get comfortable with the material
2. Although 3-4 weeks before the scheduled procedure is the optimal time to enroll patients, our analysis does show that earlier enrollment will not negatively affect patient engagement
3. For patients who are enrolled on SeamlessMD while they are in-hospital, example; emergent, this doesn’t apply
